HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1994-044 � RESOLUTION N0. 94-44 � A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS DETERMINED PARAGON CABLE HAS FAILED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ORDINANCE NO. 94-52, PROVIDING FOR PARAGON CABLE TO SUBMIT A REVISED CABLE RATE REFUND PLAN WITHIN 15 DAYS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine adopted Ordinance 94-52 on July 5, 1994, to provide for reductions in basic service cable television rates and related services and equipment in accordance with the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992 ("Cable Act of 1992") and Section 25-150, et. al., Grapevine Code of Ordinances; and WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine required Paragon Cable to provide a cable rate refund plan within 30 days; and WHEREAS, Paragon Cable, has failed to provide a cable rate refund plan which "'� is in accordance with Ordinance No. 94-52. � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1 . The City of Grapevine rejects the cable rate refund plan filed by Paragon Cable on August 5, 1994. Section 2. The City Council demands Paragon Cable to provide a cable rate plan which meets the requirements delineated in City of Grapevine Ordinance No. 94-52 within 15 days.
