HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 1994-050 ��, RESOLUTION N0. g4-50 �, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS PROVIDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS BEEN UNABLE TO DETERMINE AT THIS TIME THE REASONABLENESS OF BASIC CABLE SERVICE RATES SUBMITTED, PROVIDING FOR TOLLING THE BASIC SERVICE RATES SUBMITTED FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED 90 DAYS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the Paragon Cable has submitted FCC Form 1210 for the purpose of adjusting its maximum permitted rates due to changes in external costs, adding and deleting channels from regulated tiers and adjusting for inflation; and WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has not completed the review of Paragon Cables's FCC 1200 filing on August 15, 1994 in accordance with Grapevine Code of Ordinances, Chapter 25; and WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine is unable to determine at this time if the rates submitted are within the charges permitted as defined in Chapter 25, Article VI, '��� Sections 25-154 and 25-155, Grapevine Code of Ordinances. � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1 . The City is unable to determine, based upon the material submitted by Paragon Cable, that the proposed basic service cable rates are within the rates permitted by Chapter 25, Article VI, Sections 25-154 and 25-155, Grapevine Code of Ordinances. Section 2. The City Council tolls Paragon Cable's rate request for a period not to exceed 90 days from November 26, 1994 in accordance with Chapter 25, Article VI, Section 25-161 .
