A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, MAKING FINDINGS OF CERTAIN
FACTS RELATIVE TO THE PURCHASE OF A DIGITAL
PHOTO LAB; DETERMINING THAT THE DIGITAL PHOTO
LAB IS AVAILABLE FROM ONLY ONE SOURCE AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID
CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine desires to purchase a Digital Photo Lab for the
Police Department described as follows:
Gold Floating License 2 Ea. $5,250.00 $10,500.00
View Floating License 4 Ea. $3,750.00 $15,000.00
Import Floating License 2 Ea. $3,250.00 $ 6,500.00
Background Removal Module 1 Ea. $ 850.00 $ 850.00
Calibration Module 1 Ea. $ 850.00 $ 850.00
Active Directory Module 1 Ea. $1,850.00 $ 1,850.00
� 12 Month Maintenance Agreement 1 Ea. $4,488.00 $ 4,488.00
2 Hour WebEx Training 1 Ea. $ 399.00 $ 399.00

and;
WHEREAS, VeriPic is the only known supplier of a system that enables users to
digitally authenticate photographs.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That all matters stated in the above preamble are true and correct and
are incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Grapevine authorizes the purchase
of the Digital Photo Lab from VeriPic in a total amount not to exceed $32,462.00.
m r Section 3. That the City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to take all steps
necessary to consummate the purchase of said maintenance agreement.

.. Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
