A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS DECLARING A PORTION OF PUBLIC
LAND IDENTIFIED AS LOT 39, BLOCK 4, PLACID
PENINSULA ADDITION TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY,
PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SALE OF
SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
� WHEREAS, the general public has requested that public land identified as Lot
39, Block 4, Placid Peninsula Addition, be declared surplus; and
WHEREAS, declaring surplus this portion of Grapevine public land will protect
the welfare of the citizens of the City of Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all the matters stated in the preamble of this resolution are true
w � and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied
in their entirety.
Section 2. That a portion of the City of Grapevine's public land, identified as
Lot 39, Block 4, Placid Peninsula Addition, recorded in Volume 388 U, Page 61 of the
Tarrant County Deed Records is hereby declared surplus.
Section 3. That the terms and provisions of this resolution shall be deemed to
be severable, and that if the validity of any section, subsection, word, sentence or
phrase shall be held to be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining portions of this
. resolution.
Section 4. That the City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to
conduct the sale of said property in accordance with applicable Texas laws.
Section 5. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
