�,,, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE AND LLOYD MCCORMICK FOR HIS
DONATION OF A DOG TO BE USED IN THE CITY'S "K-9"
PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Lloyd McCormick has offered to donate a dog to the City of
Grapevine for use in the Grapevine Police Department's "K-9" Program; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept the donation of this dog for use in the
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
� Section 1 . That the terms and conditions of an agreement between the City
of Grapevine and Lloyd McCormick for his donation of a dog to be used in the City's
"K-9" Program, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all
purposes as Exhibit "A", are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement on behalf of the City of Grapevine.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 23rd day of March , 1993.

LETTER OF AGREEMENT
Dear Mr. McCormick:
This letter agreement between yourself ("Donor") and the City of
Grapevine ("City") represents your intention to donate to the City
a male German Shepherd owned by you, identified as K-9 Nuko (the
"dog") for use by the City in the Grapevine Police Department "K-9"
Program.
'� City agrees to accept the dog in his present condition and further
understands and agrees that Donor makes no warranty or guarantee,
�� either express or implied, as to the physical condition or health
of the dog.
The City agrees to return K-9 Nuko to the Donor at such time that
the dog is no longer useful in the City' s "K-9" Program or upon
mutual written agreement between City and Donor.
The agreement shall take effect immediately upon execution by both
parties hereof and shall inure to the benefit of and be binding
upon the heirs, administrators, successors and assigns of the
parties hereto.
Please indicate your acceptance of the agreement by counter-signing
below.
