RESOLUTION NO. 91-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
�'' OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER TO
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, it is necessary and incumbent upon the City Council
to appoint a Director to the Grapevine Industrial Development
Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Articles of Incorporation of the Grapevine
Industrial Development Corporation state that each Director shall
serve for a term of six years, or until his successor is
appointed by the governing body; provided that if any Director
shall at any time also be a member of the governing body of the
City, then the term of such Director shall never exceed the
period for which such Director is a member of such governing
body.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
,,� CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
'�”' Section 1. That the findings and declarations contained in
the preamble of this resolution are hereby repeated and
incorporated herein as part of this resolution.
Section 2 . That the City Council hereby appoints
C. Shane Wilbanks , who is at least eighteen (18) years of age,
and is a duly qualified elector of the City on the date of this
appointment, to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of
the Corporation, such service to be at all times subject to the
powers of the City under the Act and the Articles of
Incorporation.
Section 3 . That this resolution shall take effect
immediately from after the date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 2nd day of July , 1991.
