RESOLUTION NO. 91-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
'�'"' OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, DIRECTING STAFF TO
PROCEED WITH SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION
FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE LANDSCAPE
DEVELOPMENT MATCHING PROGRAM - STATE
DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION; PROVIDING FOR NOISE ABATEMENT
ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 360 AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, it is the considered belief and opinion of the
Grapevine City Council that participation in such a program will
best serve the needs of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council is of the opinion that
such participation may provide for the efficient use of City
Resources; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council is of the opinion that
the providing of landscaping along a section of Highway 360 will
benefit the overall community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
�"""'` CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That a Grant Application for the City of
Grapevine be submitted for participation in the Landscape
Development - Matching Program.
Section 2 . That the purpose of the Grant Application is:
A. Participation in State Funds for the benefit of
the City of Grapevine.
B. Provide for the enhancement in the appearance of
the City of Grapevine.
Section 3 . That the development and implementation of the
Grant Application and project be coordinated through the City of
Grapevine Parks & Recreation Department.
Section 4 . That this resolution shall be effective from
and after the date of its passage.
