RESOLUTION NO. 91-36

A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE
GRAPEVINE PUBLIC LIBRARY TO IMPLEMENT
RECIPROCAL BORROWING SERVICES WITH THE CITY OF
EULESS; WAIVING THE NON-RESIDENT USER FEES;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Grapevine Public Library serves users from the
City of Euless, primarily from the Bear Creek Elementary School
area and the Euless Public Library serves users from south
Grapevine, primarily from the Bear Creek Elementary School area;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine Public Library wishes to
provide library borrowing privileges to residents of Euless in
exchange for the City of Euless Public Library providing library
borrowing privileges to Grapevine residents; and
WHEREAS, it is the finding of the governing bodies of the
��' Cities of Grapevine and Euless that reciprocal library borrowing
privileges would be beneficial for residents of both cities; and

WHEREAS, the Grapevine Public Library wishes to waive the non-
resident user fees for residents of Euless and the Euless Public
Library wishes to waive the non-resident user fees for residents of
Grapevine.
, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Grapevine City Council hereby authorizes
'i the Grapevine Public Library to implement reciprocal library
' borrowing services with the City of Euless Public Library until
I either city gives thirty (30) days notice of implementation of
non-resident user fees.
Section 2 . The Grapevine City Council hereby waives the
Grapevine Public Library's non-resident user fees for the residents
of Euless.
Section 3 . That this resolution shall take effect immediately
`'�""�° from and after its passage by the City of Grapevine and acceptance
! by the City of Euless.
