RESOLUTION NO. 91-38

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 3 OF
RESOLUTION NO. 91-17 PASSED JULY 2 , 1991
REGARDING A GRANT APPLICATION FOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE LANDSCAPE COST SHARING
PROGRAM THROUGH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on July 2 , 1991 the City Council of the City of
Grapevine, Texas (the "City") passed Resolution No. 91-17 regarding
a grant application for participation in the landscape cost sharing
program through the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation ("SDHPT") , and
WHEREAS, SDHPT has requested the City to amend Resolution No.
91-17 to add the name of the City official authorized to execute
the agreement between the City and SDHPT.
�A� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

Section 1. That all of the matters stated in the preamble of
this resolution are hereby incorporated into the body of this
resolution as though fully set forth therein.
Section 2 . That Section 3 of Resolution No. 91-17 passed by
the City Council on July 2, 1991 is hereby amended in its entirety
to read as follows:
"Section 3 . The development and implementation of the grant
application and project will be coordinated through the City
of Grapevine Parks & Recreation Department. The City Council
hereby authorizes Mark Watson, City Manager, to enter into the
agreement and all other necessary documents with the State
Department of Highways and Public Transportation in connection
with the grant application and project. "
Section 3 . That this resolution shall become effective
immediately from and after the date of its passage.
� PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 19th day of November , 1991.
