RESOLUTION NO. 91-05

RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
SUPPORTING SENATE BILL 298 AND HOUSE
BILL 828 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF
A MUNICIPAL COURT OF RECORD IN THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine has never had a Municipal Court
of Record; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grapevine now deems
it necessary to establish a Municipal Court of Record; and
WHEREAS, Senator Chris Harris has introduced Senate Bill 298
with sister bill sponsored by Speaker of the House Gib Lewis, House
Bill 828.
,�,,.�, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble of this
resolution are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution
as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2 . That the City Council supports the passage of
Senate Bill 298 and House Bill 828 to establish a Municipal Court
of Record in the City of Grapevine, Texas.
Section 3 . That this resolution shall become effective from
and after the date of its passage.
