A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, ENDORSING CITY STAFF' S
RECOMMENDATION THAT A PORTION OF THE STATE 'S
RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 121 IS NO
LONGER NEEDED BY THE CITIZENS FOR ROAD
PURPOSES AND THAT THE STATE' S INTEREST IN
� THE LAND BE DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH
THE ESTABLISHED POLICIES OF THE STATE OF
TEXAS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation has determined that a portion of the State Highway
121 right-of-way located within the City of Grapevine, Texas, as
shown on the attached Exhibit "A" , may no longer be needed for the
maintenance and operation of State Highway 121; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff has determined that the proposed
surplus right-of-way is no longer needed by the citizens for
highway or road purposes and recommended that the City Council
concur in the State' s proposed disposal of the right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City Council endorses Staff' s
recommendation that the portion of State Highway 121 right-of-way
as shown in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part hereof, is
no longer needed by the citizens for highway or road purposes and
��G� is agreeable to the disposal of this land by the State in
accordance with the established policies of the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation.
Section 2. That this resolution shall become in full force
and effect from and after its date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 15th day of May, 1990.
