A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS MAKING FINDINGS OF
CERTAIN FACTS RELATIVE TO MAIN STREET
PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS TO BE INSTALLED BY
TU ELECTRIC; AWARDING A CONTRACT TO
TU ELECTRIC FOR THE PURCHASE OF NINETEEN (19)
PEDESTRIAN LIGHTS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE

WHEREAS, TU Electric is the sole provider of electrical
�" service to the City of Grapevine; and
WHEREAS, TU Electric provides, installs and maintains all
street lights within the City of Grapevine for a flat monthly
rate; and
WHEREAS, therefore, the City Council finds and determines
that pedestrian light standards are available from only one (1)
source, that being TU Electric; and
WHEREAS, the City Staff recommends the City enter into a
contract with TU Electric for nineteen (19) historical light
standards to be installed along Main Street between Jenkins
Street and Texas Street in the amount of $27 ,360 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all the above premises are found to be true
�°� and correct and are incorporated into the body of this resolution
as if copied in its entirety.
�'"' Section 2 . That the City Council authorizes the City
Manager to enter into a contract with TU Electric for the supply,
installation, and maintenance of nineteen (19) historical
pedestrian lights along Main Street in the amount of $27 ,360 .00
Section 3 . That this resolution shall take effect from and
after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of September , 1990 .
