A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE
OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR TO IMPLEMENT A
COMMUNITY-BASED RECYCLING PROGRAM GRANT AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, the Recycling Committee of the City of Grapevine is
desirous of requesting assistance from the Office of the Governor
�"' for the implementation of a recycling program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the Recycling Committee by affirmative vote
on said date has studied and evaluated the need for this program
and has determined that it is necessary to request assistance for
a community-based program to be continued.
Section 2 . That the City Council has considered and has
determined that a need does exist for assistance by the Office of
the Governor and authorizes City officials and Staff to enter
into a one-third (1/3) matching grant program.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and
after the date of its passage.
