A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
�"' OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 90-33 WHICH ADOPTED THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE
WAGE AND CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND TO
RESTRUCTURE CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU
POSITIONS AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on September 18 , 1990, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 90-33 which approved the City of Grapevine Graded
Pay Plan, Part-Time and Seasonal Pay Plan, Public Safety Pay Plan
and the Merit Pay Increase Chart; and
WHEREAS, the heretofore described pay schedules were in
effect from and after the lst day of October, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
necessary to modify the waqe and classification structure to
accommodate market conditions in the Convention & Visitors
industry.
,� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

Section 1 . That Resolution No. 90-33 which adopted the
Grapevine Wage and Classification Plan is hereby amended by
adoption of the City of Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau
Executive and Exempt Pay Structure as shown in Exhibit "A" ,
attached hereto and made a part hereof. �
Section 2 . That the City of Grapevine Convention & Visitors
Bureau is authorized to offer a one time adjustment to sales
personnel at time of hiring subject to the approval of the City
Manager.
Section 3 . That the heretofore described schedule shall be
in effect from and after the 18th day of December , 1990, and
provisions of Resolution No. 90-33 will no longer be in effect
for the positions described in Exhibit "A" .
