F�EC[JTIVE SESSION, LITIGATION Mayor Tate advised that the order of business was for the City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission to recess to the Conference Room to discuss pending litigation pursuant to Article 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S. , Subsection (e) . Following the Executive Session, the City Council and Planning & Zoning Commission reconvened in the Council Chambers with all members present, with the exception of Planning & Zoning Con¢nission M�mUer Gerald Normari. INVOCATION The Invocation was delivered by Council Member Marion Brekken. WORKSHOP - CONSIDERATION OF INSTI'IUTION OF ZONING CASES Mayor Tate advised that the order of business was for the City Council and Planning & Zoning Co�nission to conduct a Workshop Session for the purpose of reviewing consideration of the institution of zoning cases under the new Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 82-73 and, further, for the purpose of reviewing the applicability of the City's Master Land Use Plan in those areas. An introductory statement was then given by Mayor Tate. City �gineer Jim Baddaker stated that the follawing five tracts of land would be discussed: (1) Approximately 150 acres east and south of Kimball Road and west of Snakey ""�" Lane, generally knawn as the Pickering property. (2) Approxi.mately 10 acres located on the southeast corner of Dove Road and .�, Park Boulevard. (3) Approximately 35 acres located generally north of Brookhollaw Estates. (4) Approximately 17 acres located north of AuttuYm Drive and west of Dove Road. (5) The property currently zoned "R-3" Multi-Family and located generally west of Lucas Drive and north of Hilltop Drive. O1/11/83 I� Council and Planning & Zoning C�mi.ssion discussion was then conducted by Mr. Baddaker, during which such items as the availability of utilities, street access, current zoning, and Master Plan recommended use, as well as current use and proposed future uses of neighboring property were reviewed. During the discussions, members of the Council and Planning & Zoning Commission reviewed an information packet prepared by the City Staff relative to each tract. No formal action was taken by the Planning & Zoning CoimLission or the City �� Council. ADJOURl�]T There being no further business to come before the Council or Commission, Council Member Duruz made a motion to adjourn.
