HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1988-059 ORDINANCE NO. 88-59 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM MASTER PLAN AS APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 19, 1985; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE �� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: Section 1 . That the second full paragraph on page 7 . 8 of the Master Plan is hereby amended to read as follows: "Only two pipelines are proposed from 2001 through ��:� ultimate development. The first is a 20-inch pipeline along Northwest Highway from Fairway Drive nort - eastward to International Parkway. The second is a 30-inch pipeline along State Highway 121 from Hall-Johnson Road to Timberline Drive. These two pipelines will be required to move large quantities of water from one section of town to another as the demands increase in the future. The elimination of a previously planned 36 inch pipeline along State Highway 121 from Hall-Johnson Road south to the TRA supply point has been deleted from the plan as a result of the planned new TRA supply point on Pool Road at the � south city limit line. " Section 3 . The largest expenditure is $6 , 492, 992 in 1990 when the water treatment plant capacity is increased from 4. 0 MGD to 8. 0 MGD and additional storage and high service pumping facilities are constructed. Improvements recommended from 1992 through 2027 (ultimate development) are shown in Table 8 . 2. The total 1985 estimated cost of these improvements is $8 , 130,299. The largest single expenditure during this period is $1 ,650, 825 for a 1 .5 MG elevated tank. Section 4 . If any section, article, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereto any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance; and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed such remaining portions of this ordinance despite such invalidity, which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. Section 8 .
