AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 23, SECTION 23-30 BY ADDING
STOP INTERSECTIONS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS
DESCRIBED HEREIN; BY AMENDING CHAPTER 23,
' SECTION 23-63 BY RESTRICTING AND PROHIBITING
PARKING AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS DESCRIBED
� - HEREIN; AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF TRAFFIC
REGULATION SIGNS; REPEALING CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY OF FINE NOT
TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS
($200 . 00) FOR EACH OFFENSE AND A SEPARATE
OFFENSE SHALL BE DEEMED COMMITTED EACH DAY
DURING OR ON WHICH AN OFFENSE OCCURS OR
CONTINUES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
Section l . That Chapter 23, Section 23-30 of the Grapevine
Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding stop intersections

at the following described locations :
" (452) TIMBERCREEK VILLAGE
(a) On southbound Laurel Creek Drive at Timberline
Drive
(b) On southbound Bear Haven Drive at Timberline Drive
, (453) WESTWOOD ADDITION
(a) On westbound Allegheny Drive at Sonnet Drive
(b) On westbound Westwood Drive at Sonnet Drive
(c) On eastbound West Wood Drive at Sonnet Drive
(d) On westbound Westwood Drive at Hood Lane
(e) On westbound Bridger Drive at Hood Lane"
Section 2. That Chapter 23, Section 23-63 of the Grapevine
Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to include the following No
Parking restrictions and Two Hour Parking restrictions :
" Metro Place Drive, north and south sides, two hour parking
from the intersection of South Main Street to the intersection of
Metro Circle.
Metro Circle, north and south sides, two hour parking from
the intersection of Metro Place Drive to the intersection of
„ S.H. 114.
Port America Place, north side, two hour parking from the
�--� intersection of Metro Circle to a point 665 feet east of Metro
Circle.
Port America Place, north side, no parking from a point 665
feet east of Metro Circle to a point 1, 165 feet east of Metro
Circle.
Port America Place, south side, two hour parking from the
intersection of Metro Circle to a point 1, 165 feet east of Metro
Circle. "
Section 3 . That the City Manager, or his designee, is
hereby authorized to have the proper traffic signs erected,
constructured, and placed at such points along said highways,
streets, or alleys, or portions thereof under construction,
maintenance, or repair, so that travelers will be reasonably
notified of said traffic regulations.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or any parts thereof in
conflict with the terms of this ordinance shall be and
� hereby are deemed repealed and of no force or effect
provided, however, that the ordinance or ordinances under
which the cases currently filed and pending in the Municipal
Court of the City of Grapevine, Texas, shall be deemed
repealed only when all such cases filed and pending under
' such ordinance or ordinances have been disposed of by a
final conviction or a finding of not guilty, nolo
contendere, or dismissal.
Section 5 . Any person, firm, or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Municipal Court, shall be
fined in an amount not to exceed the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200 . 00) for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed
committed each day during or on which an offense occurs or
continues
Section 6 . If any section, paragraph, subsection, clause,
phrase, or provision of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid
or unconstitutional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, the
same shall not affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole
or any portion thereof other than that portion so adjudged to be
invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 7 . The fact that the traffic regulations of the
"� City of Grapevine, Texas do not adequately regulate the traffic
within the City creates an urgency and an emergency and the
�,, , preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare requires
that this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after
its passage and the publication of the caption of said ordinance
as the law and the City Charter in such cases provides.
