v AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
ABANDONING AND VACATING A PORTION OF A
UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT LOCATED ON
LOT 1, BLOCK 1, VICTORIAN POINT ADDITION IN
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AS HEREINAFTER
�:-�� DESCRIBED; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, a portion of a utility and drainage easement
located in the Victorian Point Addition in the City of Grapevine,
Texas, as hereinafter described, is not needed for public use and
will not be needed in the future for public use; and
WHEREAS, abandoning and vacating this portion of said
utility and drainage easement will relieve the City of Grapevine,
Texas from the cost and expense of maintaining said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That a portion of the City of Grapevine ' s
; utility and drainage easement as recorded in Volume 388-194,
Page 24 of the Tarrant County Plat Records, and as shown in
Exhibits "A" and "B" , attached hereto and made a part hereof (a
portion of Lot 1 , Block 1, Victorian Point Addition) , is hereby
abandonded and vacated for public use and the same is hereby
' abandoned and vacated insofar as all public right, title, and
interest in and to said described portion of said utility and
�,, . drainage easement is concerned.
Section 2 . That the terms and provisions of this ordinance
; shall be deemed to be severable, and that if the validity of any
section, subsection, word, sentence, or phrase shall be held to
be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining part of this
ordinance.
Section 3 . The fact that the present ordinances and
regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to
properly safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace, and general
welfare of the public creates and emergency which requires that
, this ordinance become effective from and after the date of its
passage.

Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Victorian Point
Addition as recorded in Volume 388-194 Page 24 of the Tarrant County Plat
Records, Tarrant County, Texas.
Thence: East 69.5 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of said easement
abandonment;
Thence: South a distance of 71.9 feet;
Thence: S 44° 04' E a distance of 51.7;
Thence: S 89° 53' E a distance of 69.5;
Thence: N 44° 04' W a distance of 151.7 to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
