SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF OWNER -FURNISHED AGREEMENT WITH TRI STAR
METALS
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval of the purchase of kennel equipment
from Tri Star Metals for the Animal Services Facility.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Capital Equipment Fund 325 for an estimated
amount of $48,750.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is part of the overall project budget from the November 7,
2017 Bond Election.
This is owner -furnished, kennel equipment planned for the renovated
Animal Services Facility.
The project scope and budget provided for the acquisition of several
owner-furnished/owner installed items as a way to reduce total project
costs.
Staff recommends approval.
