AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
APPENDIX B, SECTION 2 PLAT APPROVAL RELATIVE
TO PRELIMINARY PLATS, FINAL PLATS AND
REPLATS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
,�,,, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
Section l . That Appendix B, Section 2 of the City of
Grapevine, Texas relating to Plat Approval is hereby amended in
the following particulars and all other sections, subsections,
paragraphs, sentences, definitions, phrases and words of said
Code of Ordinances is not amended, but shall remain intact and is
hereby ratified, verified and affirmed.
Section 2. That the City Code, Appendix B, Section 2 (A)
relative to Preliminary Plats be amended by adding the following:
" (12) A filing fee for each preliminary plat shall be
payable by check drawn to the order of the city
upon submission of the preliminary plat to the
city planning and zoning commission for
approval.
The filing fees are as follows:

Section 3 . That the Grapevine City Code be, and the same
is, hereby amended by amending Appendix B, Section 2 (B) (16)
relative to Final Plat shall be amended to read as follows:
" (16) A filing fee for each final plat shall be
payable by check drawn to the order of the city
upon submission of the final plat to the city
planning and zoning commission for final
approval.
The filing fees are as follows:

excluding R-MF-1 and

Section 4 . That the City Code, Appendix B, Section 2 (C) (7)
relative to Replat shall be amended to read as follows :
" (7) The filing fees for all resubdivisions or
replats are as follows :

R-MF-2 . . . . . . . . . $100 . 00 +$5/lot

A filing fee for all vacations is hereby
established at ninety dollars ($90 . 00) . "
Section 5 . If any section, article, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereto
any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitutional
by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance;
and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed such
remaining portions of this ordinance despite such invalidity,
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 6 . The fact that the present ordinances and
regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to
properly safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace, and qeneral
welfare of the public creates an emergency which requires that

passage, and it is accordingly so ordained.
