AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE GRAPEVINE CITY CODE
SECTION 16-32 (A) RELATIVE TO GRAPEVINE
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE FEES; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY
NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED

SHALL BE DEEMED COMMITTED UPON EACH DAY
DURING OR ON WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS;

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the Grapevine City Code Section 16-32,
Subsection A, shall be amended as follows and all other chapters,
sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, definitions,
phrases and words of said Code of Ordinances, are not amended,
but shall remain intact and are hereby ratified, verified, and
affirmed:
Section 16-32 (A) Fees Established. Green fees for the
Grapevine Municipal Golf Course are hereby set and established as
follows :
(1) Weekdays (Monday through Friday)
(a) Regular green fee . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 9 . 00

(b) Twilight green fee (after 4 : 30 p.m. ) . . 6 . 00
„� (c) Senior citizen (age 62 and above) . . . . $ 5 . 50
(d) Junior (age 18 and under) . . . . . . . . $ 5. 50
(e) Punch card--Purchase of punch card
entitles holder to fifty (50) rounds
of golf . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $375 . 00
(2) Weekends (Saturday and Sundays) and Holidays
(a) Green Fee . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 11 . 00
(b) Twilight green fee (after 4 : 30 p.m. ) . . $ 6 . 50
(3) Cart, clubs, lessons, and range ball fee
(a) Electric golf carts :
1 . 18 holes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 13 . 00
2 . 9 holes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 7 . 00

Section 2 . If any section, article, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word in this ordinance, or application thereto
any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitutional
by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not
affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordinance
and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed such
remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity,
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3 . Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum not to exceed Two
Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) and a separate offense shall be deemed
committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or
continues after the notice period provided herein has expired.
Section 4 . The fact that the present fees at the Grapevine
Municipal Golf Course are inadequate creates an urgency and an
emergency and in the preservation of the public health, safety,
and welfare requires that this ordinance shall take effect
immediately from and after its passage and the publication of the
caption, as the law and charter in such cases provides .
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 16th day of September, 1986 .
