AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING ORDI-
NANCE NO. 81-61 , THE COMPREHENSIVE MASTER
LAND USE AND THOROUGHFARE PLAN, AS
AMENDED; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY; AND
� -- DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council, at the recommendation
�"� of the Planning & Zoning Commission, did approve and adopt the
Comprehensive Master Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan Update 1980
by the passage of Ordinance No. 81-61 on the 15th day of
September, 1981 ; and
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council
have reconsidered the Plan, in particular the Master Plan Land
Use Map, have conducted a public hearing relative to the matter,
and have concluded that it is in the best interest of the City of
Grapevine, Texas that the Map be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the Comprehensive Master Plan Land Use Map
is hereby amended by deleting all of the Neighborhood Commerical
and Commercial Floating Land Use designations .
Section 2. That the amended Map shall be filed for record
in the official City records and the Map shall be available to
the public and to all landowners and used as an official portion

of the Comprehensive Master Land Use Plan of the City of
Grapevine, Texas.
Section 3. If any part or portion of this ordinance is held
to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent juris-
diction, such holding shall in no way affect or invalidate the
remaining portions hereof not so held invalid or unconsti-
tutional.
Section 4 . The fact that the present Comprehensive Master
Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan of the City of Grapevine, Texas
requires amendment creates an emergency for the immediate
preservation of the public business , property, health, safety,
and general welfare, which requires that this ordinance shall
become effective from and after the date of its passage, and it
is accordingly so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of March, 1986.
