AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS REPEALING
SECTIONS 20-30 THROUGH 2O-39 . 4 OF THE
GRAPEVINE CITY CODE RELATIVE TO OUTDOOR
� ADVERTISING AND PORTABLE BUSINESS SIGNS;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS :
Section l . That Chapter 20, Article II , Divisions 1 and 2 ,
Sections 20-30 through 20-39 . 4 of the Grapevine City Code relat-
ing to Outdoor Advertising and Portable Business Signs are hereby
repealed in their entirety.
Section 2 . If any section, subsection, paragraph, clause,
phrase, or provision of this ordinance shall be judged invalid,
or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of
this ordinance as a whole or any portion thereof other than that
portion so decided to be invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 3 . The fact that the present ordinances and regula-
tions of the City of Grapevine, Texas are inadequate to properly
safeguard the health, safety, morals , peace and general welfare
of the inhabitants of the City of Grapevine, Texas, creates an
�`' emergency for the immediate preservation of the public business,
property, health, safety and general welfare of the public which
,� � requires that tr.is ordinance shall beceme effective from and
after the date of its passage, and it is accordingly so �rdained.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 3rd day of September, 1985 .
