AN OkDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE GRAPEVINE CITY CODE
SECTION 16-32 (A) RELATIVE TO GRAPEVINE
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE FEES; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY
NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED
� DOLLARS ($200 . 00) AND A SEPARATE OFFENSE
SHALL BE DEEb1ED CON�NiITTED UPON EACH DAY
DURING OR CN WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
N04V, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED EY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l . That the Grapevine City Code Section 16-32 ,
Subsection A, shall be amended as follows and all other chapters,
sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, definitior.s ,
phrases and words of said Code of Ordinances, are not amendecl,
but shall remain intact and are hereby ratified, verified, and
affirmed:
Section 16-32 (A) Fees Established. Green fees for the
Grapevine Mur.icipal Golf Course are hereby set and established
as follows :
(1) Weekdays (Monday through Friday)
(a) Regular green fee . . . . . . . . . . . $ 8 .00
�` ' (b) Twilight green fee (after 4 : 30 p.m. ) . . . $ 5 . 50
� (c) Senior citizen (age 62 and above) . . . . $ 5 . 00
(d) Junior (aqe 18 and under) . . . . . . . . $ 5 . 00
(e) Punch card--Purchase of punch card
entitles holder to fifty (50) rounds
of gol.f . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $350 . 00
(2) Weekends (Saturday and Sundays) and Holidays
(a) Green fee . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 10 .00
(3) Cart, clubs, lessons, and range ball fee:
(a) Electric golf carts :

(b) Private motorized golf carts:

Section 2 . If any section, article, paragraph, ser�tence,
clause , phrase, or word ir� this ordinance , or application thereto
to any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitu-
tional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordi-
nance and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed
such remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity,
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3 . Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum not to exceed Two
Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) and a separate offense shall be deemed
committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or
continues after the netice period provided herein has expired.
Section 4 . The fact that the present fees at the Grape-
vine Municipal Golf Course are inadequate creates an urgency and
�h�4 an emergency and in the preservation of the public health,
safety, and welfare rea,uires that this ordinan_ce shall take
effect immediately from and after its passage and the publication
� of the caption, as the law and charter in such cases provides.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 17th day of September, 1985 .
