AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS REPEALING
SECTIONS 25-50 THROUGH 25-54 OF THE
GRAPEVINE CITY CODE REUATIVE TO WATER
� AND SEWER MAIN EXTENSIONS; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND DECLARING AN
EM�RGENCY

BE IT ORDAI�ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVIN�,
TEXAS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 25 , Division 2 , Sections 25-50
through 25-54 of the Grapevine City Code relating to Water and
Sewer Main Extensions are hereby repea.led in their entirety.
Section 2 . If any section, subsection, paragraph, clause,
phrase, or provision of this ordinanc� shall be judged invalid,
�r unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of
this ordinance as a whole or any portion thereof other than that
portion so decided to be invalid or unconstitutional .
Section 3 . The fact that the present ordinancEs and
regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas are inad�quate to
properly safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace and general
wel.fare of the inhabitants of the City of Grapevine, Texas ,
creates an emergency for the immediate preservation of the public
business, property, health, safety and general welfare of the
�" "` public which requires �hat this ordinance shall become effecti.ve
from and after the date of its passage, and it is accordingly so
�„� ordained.
