AN ORDINANCE AMENDING APPENDIX E-CONSTRUCTION
STANDARDS-ARTICLE 1, ITEM 1 BY PROVIDING FOR SECTION
1.5.1; PROVIDING FOR FEES FOR SANITARY SEWER LINE TELE-
� VISION INSPECTION; PROVIDING FOR EXECUTED CONSTRUCT-
ION CONTRACT COPIES TO BE FILED WITH THE DIRECTOR OF
PUBLIC WORKS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTNE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section l. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grapevine, Texas
is hereby amended in Appendix E-Construction Standards-Article 1, Item 1 by
providing for Section 1.5.1 so that said Section shall hereafter read as follows:
"Section 1.5.1 - Inspection Fees: The Subdivider shall be
charged a Design Review and Inspection Fee of the facilities as
listed in Section 1.5 of an amount equal to three percent (3%) of
the construction costs of the utilities, storm drains and streets in
each subdivision.
The Subdivider shall file copies of the executed Construction
Contracts with the Director of Public Works, for a determination
of the actual amount of the fee to be assessed against the
Subdivider."
Section 2. Severability. If any section, article, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase or word in this Ordinance, or application thereto any person or
circumstances is held invalid or unconstitutional by a Court of competent
jurisdiction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
of the Ordinance; and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed
`�" such remaining portions of the Ordinance despite such invalidity, which
remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. Effective Date. That this Ordinance shall become effective
on all subdivision plats approved after October 16, 1984.
