AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 , SEC-
TION 30 , OF THE CITY CODE OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, BY ADDING STOP SIGNS AT CERTAIN
LOCATIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN; AUTHORIZING
THE ERECTION OF TRAFFIC REGULATION SIGNS;
REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVID-
ING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A
PENALTY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE C'ITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l . The City Code of the City of Grapevine ,
Texas , Chapter 23, Section 30 , is hereby amended by adding
stop signs at the following described locations : !
A. On Westbound Pecos Drive at Cimarron Trail.
B. On Eastbound Pecos Drive at Sagebrush Trail.
C. On Westbound Sierra Drive at Cimarron Trail.
D. On Eastbound Sierra Drive at Cimarron Trail.
E. On Eastbound Sierra Drive at Sagebrush Trail.
F. On Southbound Palo Duro Trail at Sierra Drive.
G. On Northeast Bound Palo Duro Trail at Sagebrush ;
Trail.
H. On Northwest Bound Sagebrush Trail at Cimarron
Trail.
I. On Northwest Bound Santa Fe Trail at Cimarron
Trail.

J. On Southbound Cimarron Court at Cimarron Trail.
Section 2 . That the City Manager, or his agent, is
hereb�y authorized to have stop signs erected, constructed,
and p�laced at such points along said streets.
Section 3. That all ordinances or any parts thereof in
conflict with the terms of this ordinance shall be an hereby
are d.eemed repealed and of no force or effect provided, how-
ever, that the ordinance or ordinances under which the cases
curre.ntly filed and pending in the Municipal Court of the
City of Grapevine , Texas , shall be deemed repealed only when
all s;uch cases filed and pending under such ordinance or
ordin.ances have been disposed of by a final conviction or a
finding not guilty of nolo contendere , or dismissal.
Section 4 . If any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clau�;e, phrase , or provisions of this ordinance shall be
judge�d invalid or unconstitutional , the same shall not affect
the v�alidity of this ordinance as a whole or any portion
-- there�of other than that portion so decided to be invalid or
uncor.�stitutional.
Section 5 . Any person, firm, or corporation violating
any c�f the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
quilt:y of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Muni-
cipal. Court, shall be fined in an amount not to exceed the
sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00 ) for each offense.
Section 6 . The fact that the traffic regulations of the
City of Grapevine do not adequately regulate the traffic
within the City creates an urgency and an emergency and the
preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare re-
quire:s that this ordinance shall take effect immediately from
and a.fter its passage and the publication of the caption of
said ordinance as the law and the City Charter in such cases
provi.des.
