AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, AMENDING THE GRAPEVINE CITY CODE
SECTION 16-32 (A) RELATIVE TO GRAPEVINE
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE FEES; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A PENALTY;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
- THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That the Grapevine City Code Section 16-32 ,
Subsec�ion A, is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 16-32 (A) Fees Established. Green fees for the
Grapevine Municipal Golf Course are hereby set and established
as follows :
(1) Weekdays (Monday through Friday) :
(a) Regular Green Fee . . . . . . . . . . . $ 6 . 50
(b) Twilight Green Fee
(After 4 : 30 p.m. ) . . . . . . . . . . $ 5. 00
(c) Senior Citizen (age 62 & above) . . . . $ 4 . 50
(d) Junior (age 18 & under) . . . . . . . . $ 4. 50
(e) Punch Card - Purchase of punch
card entitles holder to fifty (50)
rounds of golf . . . . . . . . . . . . $300 . 00
(2) Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and holidays (New Year' s
Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanks-
giving Day, Good Friday, closed Christmas Day) :

Section 2. If any section, article , paragraph, sentence ,
clause, phrase, or word in this ordinance, or application thereto
to any person or circumstances is held invalid or unconstitu-
tional by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the ordi-
nance, and the City Council hereby declares it would have passed
such remaining portions of the ordinance despite such invalidity,
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon
conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum not to exceed Two
Hundred Dollars ($200 .00) and a separate offense shall be deemed
' committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or
continues after the notice period provided herein has expired.
Section 4 . The fact that the present fees at the Grapevine
Municipal Golf Course are inadequate creates an urgency and an
emergency and in the preservation of the public health, safety,
and welfare requires that this ordinance shall take effect
immediately from and after its passage and the publication of
the caption, as the law and charter in such cases provides.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 5th day of October , 1982 .
