AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23,
SECTIONS 30 & 63 OF THE CITY CODE
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, BY ADDING STOP
SIGNS AND NO PARKING SIGNS AT CER-
TAIN LOCATIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN;
�.;� AUTHORIZING THE ERECTION OF TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS SIGNS; REPEALING CON-
FLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A
`�"� PENALTY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1. The City Code of the City of Grapevine,
Texas , Chapter 23, Section 30 , is hereby amended by adding
stop signs at the following described locations :
A. On Southbound Lakeview at High Drive
B. On Northbound Lakeview at High Drive
C. On Northbound Lakeview at Lakeridge Drive
D. On Southbound Lakeview at Lakeridge Drive
E. On Westbound Lakeridge at Lakeview
Section 2. The City Code of the City of Grapevine,
«�� Texas , Chapter 23, Section 63 relating to no-parking zones ,
is hereby amended to include the following described loca-

tions:
A. Choteau Circle - No Parking 50 ' along the north
right-of-way line of the most southerly portion
of Choteau Circle from its intersection with the
most easterly portion of Choteau Circle, as shown
in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
B. Choteau Circle - No Parking 50 ' along the west
right-of-way line of the most easterly portion
of Choteau Circle from its intersection with
the most southerly portion of Choteau Circle,
as shown in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
C. Choteau Circle - No Parking 50 ' along the west
right-of-way line of the most easterly portion
of Choteau Circle from its intersection with
the most northerly portion of Choteau Circle,
as shown in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and
made a part hereof.

D. Choteau Circle - No parking 50 ' along the south
right-of-way line of the most northerly portion
�, of Choteau Circle from its intersection with the
most easterly portion of Choteau Circle, as shown
in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
Section 3. That the City Manager or his agent is hereby
authorized to have stop signs and no parking signs erected,
constructed, and placed at such points along said streets.
Section 4 . That all ordinances or any parts thereof in
conflict with the terms of this ordinance shall be and hereby
are deemed repealed and of no force or effect provided, how-
ever, that the ordinance or ordinances under which the cases
currently filed and pending in the Municipal Court of the
City of Grapevine, Texas, shall be deemed repealed only when
all such cases filed and pending under such ordinance or
ordinances have been disposed of by a final conviction or a
�;,� finding not guilty of nolo contendere, or dismissal.
Section 5. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase or provisions of this ordinance shall be judged invalid
�� or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of
this ordinance as a whole or any portion thereof other than
that portion so decided to be invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 6. Any person, firm or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Municipal Court,
shall be fined in an amount not to exceed the sum of Two Hun-
dred Dollars ($200. 00) for each offense.
Section 7. The fact that the traffic regulations of the
City of Grapevine do not adequately regulate the traffic with-
in the City creates an urgency and an emergency and the preser-
vation of the public health, safety, and welfare requires that
this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage and the publication of the caption of said ordinance as
the law and the City Charter in such cases provides.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 4th day of August, 1981.
