AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING THE DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC WORKS AS THE TRAFFIC SAFETY
COORDINATOR PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 23 ,
SECTION 23-46 OF THE CITY CODE; PRO-
�`"" VIDING FOR THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF
SAID TRAFFIC SAFETY COORDINATOR; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section l. That the Director of Public Works is hereby
designated, by ordinance, pursuant to Chapter 23 , Section
23-46 of the City Code, as the Traffic Safety Coordinator.
Section 2. The fact that the enactment of an ordinance
providing for the designation of a Traffic Safety Coordinator
is necessary to preserve the public business, peace, health,
safety and general welfare, creates an urgency and emergency
in the immediate preservation of the same, and requires that
this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after
its passage; and it is accordingly so ordained.
