AN ORDINANCE SETTING A FEE FOR SUPPLY-
ING CERTAIN TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the City, at substantial expense, obtained a
complete set of topographic maps of the City, and it is
reasonable to charge a fee for copies of those maps that
include a proportionate part of said cost.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1. A per sheet cost of $50 . 00 is hereby estab-
lished as a reasonable charge for supplying copies of a topo-
graphic map, 24" x 26" , 1" to 200 ' scale, with two foot (2 ' )
contours , said topographic map having been taken from aerial
photographs that were flown in January of 1981.
Section 2. Emergency. The fact that the present ordi-
nances and regulations of the City of Grapevine, Texas , are
inadequate to properly safeguard the health, safety, morals ,
peace, and general welfare of the inhabitants of the City of
Grapevine, Texas, creates an emergency for the immediate pre-
servation of the public business, property, health, safety,
and general welfare of the public which requires that this
ordinance shall become effective from and after the date of
- its passage, and it is accordingly so ordained.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on the 17th day of November, 1981.
