ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17 , V.A.T.C.S. , AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP SESSION AGENDA WAS PREPARED � AND POSTED ON THIS THE 22ND DAY OF AUGUST, 1980 AT 2 : 00 P.M. � Shirley Ar �t �emg City Secre ary � � �rr STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Work- shop Session on this the 26th day of August, 1980 at 7 : 30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 413 Main Street with the following persons present to-wit: '"�' William D. Mullendore Council Member Marion Brekken Council Member constituting a quorum with the following members of the City Staf f: James L. Hancock City Manager Bill Eisen Assistant City Manager Lee Maness Finance Director Shirley Armstrong City Secretary CALL TO ORDER Mayor Tate called the meeting to order. INVOCATION The Invocation was delivered by Councilman Charles Dunn. �, WORKSHOP, 1980-81 CITY BUDGET , Mayor Tate advised that the purpose of the meeting was to conduct �r the final workshop budget on the 1980-81 proposed City Budget. City Manager, Jim Hancock then made a presentation during which he presented the proposed tax revenue and distribution based up- on 53. 4 cents per 100� valuation. Mr. Hancock then outlined deletions and additions made, since the previous workshop session, in the proposed General Fund, Utility Fund, Tourist and Convention Bureau Fund, and Golf Course Enterprise Fund. (Copies of same are on file in the Office of the City Secretary entitled (1980-81 Budget Workshop Papers, August 26 , 1980. ") There was little discussion from Members of the City Council. The City Staff was not instructed to make any changes in the proposed budget. PUBLIC HEARING, 1980-81 CITY BUDGET Mayor Tate announced that the Public Hearing relative to the 1980-81 City Budget would be held on September 2 , 1980 at �,,, 7 : 30 P.M. in the Council Chambers. ADJOURNMENT �" There being no further business to come before the Council, Council- man Shafer made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ted Ware and prevailed by the following vote: I� 08/26/80 Ayes . Tate, Ware, Oliver, Dunn, Shafer, Mullendore, & Brekken Nays .
