The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas, met
in Budget Workshop Session on this the 29th day of
July, 1980 at 7 : 30 P.M. , at the Grapevine Concourse
Center with the following persons present to-wit:

Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro-Tem
Charles Dunn Council Member

Aulton Mullendore Council Member
Marion Brekken Council Member
constituting a quorum with the following members of the
City Administrative Staff:
James L. Hancock City Manager
Bill Eisen Assistant City Manager
Lee Maness Finance Director
Shirley Armstrong City Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order.
INVOCATION
The Invocation was delivered by Mayor Pro Tem Ted Ware.
� � WORKSHOP, 1980-81 CITY BUDGET
Mayor Tate welcomed those in attendance and advised that the
'�°"'" purpose of the meeting was to conduct a workshop session rela-
tive to the 1980-81 City Budget.
City Manager, Jim Hancock then presented summaries of the
City' s financial position for the fiscal year 1979-80 and
projected revenue for 1980-81. The proposed 1980-81 Budget
for the General Fund was then presented in detail. Repre-
sentatives from each department were in attendance to answer
questions from the Council.
The City Staff was not instructed to make any changes in
the proposed budget at the present time.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council,
Councilman Dunn made a motion to adjourn. The motion was
seconded by Councilman Oliver and prevai�.ed by the following
vote:
Ayes : Tate, Ware, Dunn, Oliver, Shafer, Mullendore, & Brekken
