CITY OF GRAPEVINE �
The City Council of the City of Grapevine , Texas , met in Special
Session on this the 23rd day of April , 1979 , at 4:30 P.M. with the
following persons present to-wit :
William D. Tate Mayor
David Florence Mayor Pro-Tem
William Shafer Councilman
Doil Dalton Councilman
Charles Dunn Councilman
Ted Ware Councilman
Larry Oliver Councilman
constituting a quorum with the following City Staff Members :
James L. Hancock City Manager
Bill Eisen Assistant City Manager
Juanita Bond Acting City Secretary
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tate.
� INVOCATION
Councilman Oliver delivered the Invocation.

i RESOLUTION - CANVASSING BALLOTS
Mayor Tate advised Council Members that the purpose of the Special
Meeting was to canvass the ballots of the April 21st City Officers '
� Run-Off Election.
�
� Mrs . Bond then read the proposed Resolution which contained the re-
i sults of the Run-Off Election.
{
I Councilman Dunn then made a motion to adopt the resolution canvass- "
' ing the ballots of the April 21st election. The motion was seconded
by Councilman Dalton and prevailed by the following vote :
Ayes : Tate, Florence, Oliver , Dalton, Ware , Dunn, and Shafer
Nays : None

OFF ELECTION.

� MISCELLANEOUS REPORTS AND/OR DISCUSSIONS
City Manager Jim Hancock advised the Council that they would be re-
ceiving an agenda in the mail shortly calling for a special work-
shop session for Thursday, April 26 , 1979 at 7 : 00 P.M. to consider
the Six (6) Month Ending Budget Review for the Budget Year-October l ,
1978-September 30 , 1979 .
� The date of the workshop was discussed among the Council , and it was
decided that due to conflicting interest of the Members that this
date be canceled.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council , Councilman
Florence made a motion to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Council-
man Oliver and all in attendance voted aye.
