SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF FENCING FOR THE ANIMAL SERVICES
FACILITY
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval of the purchase of fencing for the Animal
Services Facility from Goldsmith Construction.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Capital Equipment Fund 325 for an estimated
amount of $37,574.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is part of the overall project budget from the November 7,
2017 Bond Election.
This is owner -furnished fencing designed specifically for the Animal
Services Facility providing safety and security for the animals and people.
The project scope and budget provided for the acquisition of several
owner-furnished/owner installed items as a way to reduce total project
costs.
Staff recommends approval.
