SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF OUTDOOR TURF FOR THE ANIMAL SERVICES
FACILITY
RECOMMENDATION: City Council to consider approval of the purchase of outdoor turf for play
yards 3 and 4 at the Animal Services Facility from Forever Lawn.
FUNDING SOURCE: Funds are available in the Capital Equipment Fund 325 for an estimated
amount of $33,700.
BACKGROUND: This purchase is part of the overall project budget from the November 7,
2017 Bond Election.
This is owner -furnished, play yard turf planned for the Animal Services
Facility.
The project scope and budget provided for the acquisition of several
owner-furnished/owner installed items as a way to reduce total project
cost.
Staff recommends approval.
