A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, RATIFYING A CONCESSION
AGREEMENT BETW�EN THE CITY AND AUSTIN RANCH
ENTERPRISES, INC. , FOR THE PERIOD OCTOBER 15,
�'` ' 1987 TO DECEMBER 6 , 1988 ; AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONCESSION AGREEMENT FOR A
PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS BETWEEN THE CITY
�; , AND AUSTIN RANCH ENTERPRISES, INC. , AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on October 2, 1984 , the City of Grapevine ("City")
and Austin Ranch Enterprises, Inc. ("ARE") entered into a
Concession Agreement ("Agreement") on land which the City had
leased from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers ("Corps") for the
purpose of the usage of equestrian trails and the sale of food
and beverages; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement was for a period of three (3) years,
expiring on October 15 , 1987; and
WHEREAS , ARE, with the approval of the City, has continued
to operate its concession business from October 15 , 1987 until
the present time; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to ratify the implied Concession
Agreement between the City and ARE from October 15 , 1987 until
the present date; and
� WHEREAS, the City and ARE mutually agree to continue the
Concession Agreement for an additional three (3) year period.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section l . The above premises are found to be true and
correct and are incorporated into the terms of this resolution as
though they were copied herein in their entirety.
Section 2 . The City Council hereby ratifies the Concession
Agreement between the City and ARE from October 15, 1987 through
December 6 , 1988.
Section 3. The City hereby approves the Concession
Agreement between the City and ARE, attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" and incorporated herein for all purposes, and authorizes the
Mayor and City Secretary to execute said agreement.
Section 4 . This resolution shall become effect�ve after its
passage and approval by the City Council.
