A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 88-46 PASSED
NOVEMBER 15 , 1988 REGARDING A GRANT
APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE
LANDSCAPE DEVELOPMENT MATCHING PROGRAM
THROUGH THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION BY AMENDING SECTION 3;

PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, on November 15, 1988 , the City Council of the City
�_-� of Grapevine, Texas (the "City") passed Resolution No. 88-46
regarding a grant application for participation in the landscape
development matching program through the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation ("SDHPT") ; and
WHEREAS, SDHPT has requested the City to amend Resolution
No. 88-46 to add the name of the City official authorized to
execute the agreement between the City and SDHPT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all of the matters stated in the preamble
of this resolution are hereby incorporated into the body of this
resolution as though fully set for therein.
Section 2 . That Section 3 of Resolution No. 88-46 passed by
the City Council on November 15 , 1988 is hereby amended in its
entirety to read as follows:

"Section 3 . The development and implementation of the
Grant application and project will be coordinated
through the City of Grapevine Parks & Recreation
Department. The City Council hereby authorizes Mark
Watson, City Manager, to enter into the agreement and
all other necessary documents with the State Department
of Highways and Public Transportation in connection
with the Grant application and project. "
Section 3 . That this resolution shall become effective
immediately from and after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the Qth day of _��ril . 1989 •
