A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 89-12 PASSED MAY 2 , 1989 ESTABLISHING A
GRAPEVINE TASK FORCE ON AIRPORT EXPANSION;
EXPANDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF SAID TASK FORCE;
DEFINING APPOINTMENT PROCEDURES FOR SAID TASK
� FORCE AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
�a WHEREAS, on May 2 , 1989, the City Council of the City of
Grapevine, Texas (the "City") passed Resolution No. 89-12
establishing a Grapevine Task Force on Airport Expansion; and
WHEREAS, City Staff has requested the City Council amend
Resolution No. 89-12 to increase the membership of said Task
Force and to define appointment procedures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That all of the matters stated in the preamble
of this resolution are hereby incorporated into the body of this
resolution as though fully set for therein.
Section 2 . That Section 1 of Resolution No. 89-12 passed by
the City Council on May 2 , 1989 is hereby amended in its entirety
to read as follows:
"Section 1 . That the Grapevine Task Force on Airport
Expansion is hereby created, the composition of said
board shall consist of thirteen (13) members
w representing various geographical and affiliated
background areas , both residential and commercial, and
representatives of the business, public and private
sectors. "
Section 3. That Section 4 of Resolution No. 89-12 passed by
the City Council on May 2, 1989 is hereby amended in its entirety
to read as follows:
"Section 4 . That there shall be a Chairman appointed
by the Mayor, which may or may not be his respective
appointee. Each Grapevine City Council Member shall
appoint one (1) board member each with the remaining
six (6) members of the board to be selected at large
and approved by the Council as a whole. One (1)
Council Member to be appointed by the Mayor will serve
as an ex-officio member of the Board, along with the
City Manager and/or his designee. The Task Force
and/or the City Council can name ex-officio members to
the Task Force as they deem necessary and as required. "
Section 4 . That this resolution shall become effective from and
