A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
CASTING VOTES FOR THE NOMINATION OF A
CANDIDATE TO SERVE ON THE TARRANT COUNTY TAX
APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

WHEREAS, the Property Tax Code of the State of Texas
' requires that central tax appraisal districts be established in
�;.,::;
each County of the State; and
`� WHEREAS, the five member governing board of the district is
selected by the participating governmental subdivisions located
i
; within the County; and
!� WHEREAS, the expiration of the two-year terms has created a
I necessity for the selection of inembers to serve on the Tarrant
� County Tax Appraisal District Board of Directors.

� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :

� Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine, Tarrant County,
Texas, does hereby cast all of its 65 votes for Mr. James K.
�, Norwood to be placed on the balloting for the Tarrant County
� Appraisal District Board of Directors.

Section 2. It is hereby found and certified that
Mr. Norwood is currently a resident of the tax appraisal district
� and has been a resident for at least two years.
� .
Section 3. That the City Secretary is hereby directed to
forward a certified copy of said resolution to the Tarrant County
; Tax Appraisal District and the Tarrant County Clerk.
