A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, CASTING VOTES FOR THE
ELECTION OF A CANDIDATE TO SERVE ON THE
TARRANT COUNTY TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD
OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Property Tax Code of the State of Texas
requires that central tax districts be established in each County
�, of the State; and
WHEREAS, the five member governing board of the district is
selected by the participating governmental subdivisions located
within the County; and
WHEREAS, the expiration of the two-year terms has created a
necessity for the selection of inembers to serve on the Tarrant
County Appraisal District Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine, Tarrant County,
Texas, does hereby cast all of its 65 votes for Mr. James K.
Norwood to serve on the governing board of the appraisal district
of Tarrant County.
Section 2. It is hereby found and certified that
Mr. Norwood is currently a resident of the tax appraisal district
�'* and has been a resident for at least two years.
� Section 3 . That the City Secretary is hereby directed to
forward a certified copy of said resolution to the Tarrant County
Tax Appraisal District and the Tarrant County Clerk.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 3rd day of November , 1987 .
