A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE DRAFTING
��°� OF AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
A TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED HEREIN AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
��
WHEREAS, the petition requesting the annexation of a certain
tract of land was submitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the Staff to draft the
necessary documents relating to the annexation of the subject
property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council called, advertised, and held
public hearings on the matter as required by Chapter 43 of the
Local Government Code; and
WHEREAS, no public opposition was voiced regarding the
annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council is of the opinion that
the annexation of the petitioned property would be in the best
interest of the citizens of Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

Section 1 . That the City Attorney is hereby directed and
authorized to draft an ordinance for tfie purpose of annexing a
tract of land described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
Section 2 . That this resolution shall take effect from and
after the date of its passage.

Being a 26.8791 acre ttact of land in the E.R. Richardson S�zvey, Abstract
No. 1352 and the G.B. Knight Sl�rvey, Abstract No. 898 situated in Tarrant
County, Texas and being a portion of that certain tract of land as described
� in deed to Stone Con�any, Inc. as recorded in Volume 6756, Page 2340 of the
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas and being more particularly descr3bed
