RESOLUTION N0. 88-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A MEMBER OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE GRAPEVINE
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
� WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Grapevine Industrial
�.:� Development Corporation since Mr. Tom Powers is no longer a
member of the governing body of the City of Grapevine, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and incumbent upon the City Council
to appoint a Director to fill this vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
� Section 1 . That the findings and declarations contained in
� the preamble of this resolution are hereby adopted and
' incorporated herein as part of this resolution.

Section 2. That the City Council hereby appoints Mayor
; William D. Tate, who is at least eighteen (18) years of age and
is a duly qualified elector of the City on the date of this
applicati�n, to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of
the Corporation, such service to be at all times subject to the
; powers of the City under the Act and the Article of
_�;,,,:. Incorporation.
'� Section 3. Pursuant to Article VII of the Articles of
�' �°�� Incorporation, this appointment shall not exceed the period for
� which Mr. Tate is a member of the governing body of the City of �
� Grapevine, Texas.
; Section 4 . That this resolution shall become effective from
' and after the date of its passage.
