A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS SUPPORTING AND
ENDORSING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND CON-
STRUCTION OF A NEW AIRPORT FACILITY TO
BE LOCATED BETWEEN F.M. 156 AND I-35W
HIGHWAYS, ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF
��, HASLET, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
�
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration is considering
establishment of a new airport facility to be located between
F.M. 156 and I-35W Highways, adjacent to the City of Haslet,
Texas, as more particularly shown on Exhibit "A" , attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of such an airport will be a
significant positive economic influence throughout the northern
Tarrant County and southwest Denton County areas; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Grape-
vine, Texas to support establishment of an airport substantially
as depicted on Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine, Texas supports and
�� endorses the expeditious establishment and construction of a new
airport substantially as depicted on Exhibit "A" , attached hereto
�,. and made a part hereof, which is incorporated herein for all
purposes.
Section 2 . That this resolution shall take effect from and
after its date of passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 7th day of April, 1987 .
