A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE 1987 CITY OFFICER RUN-OFF ELECTION
� � WHEREAS , there came to be considered the returns of an
election held on the 25th day of April, 1987, for the purpose of
electing the hereinafter named official, and, it appearing from
,� said returns duly and legally made, that there were cast from
said election 1, 218 valid and legal votes; that each of the
candidates in said election received the following votes:
COUNCIL, PLACE 6

Rick Atkins . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 527
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That said election was duly called; that notice
of said election was given in accordance with law; that said
election was held in accordance with law; and that the following
named person was duly elected to the office indicated:

Section 2 . That the said above person is hereby declared
duly elected to said respective office, subject to the taking of
his oath and filing bond as provided by the laws of this State
and the ordinances of this City.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 28th day of April, 1987 .
