City Manager � Shirley Armstrong City Secretary ' k Mayor Tate called the meeting to order. € . k The Invocation was delivered by Councilman Charles Dunn. 4 i € The first order of business was for the City Council to consider a resolution relative to application for preliminary loan for low-rent public housing. � � The City Secretary read the resolution in its entirety. � s After little discussion, Councilman Dalton made a motion to � adopt the resolution. The motion was seconded by Councilman Dunn � and prevailed by the following vote: � Ayes: Tate, Dalton, Dunn, Oliver, Pirkle, Gideon, & Florence ; Nays: None � Before adjourning, Mayor Tate stated that the Citizens Advisory a' Committee would meet for the first time on May 10, and asked if � the Council could meet in conjunction with that committee. The � City Secretary was then instructed to post the proper agenda for � � said meeting. 7 s There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Florence made a motion to adjourn.
