ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S. , AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227, ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POST- ED ON THIS THE 27TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1976 AT 4:45 P.M. � . � City Secre ary I � � i i � � � � i i i �� MINUTES AND CERTIFICATION PERTAINING 70 PASSAGE OF AN ORDINANCE CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARiNG THE RESULT OF A BOND ELECTION HELD IN SAID ClTY ON THE 25TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1976, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY THE STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF TARRANT � CITY OF GRAPEVINE X On this the 30 day of September, 1976, fihe City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas, convened in Special Meeting at the Regular Mee.ting place thereof, the meeting being open to t e pu lic and nofiice of said meeting� giving the dafie, place ond subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Article 6252�17, V.A.T.C,S., and the roll was called of the duly constifiuted officers and me�rbers of said City Council, which members and offic�rs are as fol(ows: • W. D. Tat�, Mayor poil Dalton ) Shirley Armstrong City Secretary Charles Dunn )' Larry O)i ver ) Willis Pirkle ) Councilmen David Florence } Charles Gideon ) and al{ of said persons were present, except the fallovving absentees: ' Councilman Willis Pirkle , thus constiivting a quorum. �IV�iereupon, among ot er usiness, t e following was transacted, to-wit: a written Ordinance bearing th� following caption was introduced: An Ordinance by the City Counci) of the City of Grapevine, Texas, Canvassing Returns and Declaring the Resu{ts of a Bond Election held in the said City on the 25th day of September, 1976 The Ordinance, a ful{, true and correct copy of which is attached hereto, was read anci reviewed by the City Council. . Thereupon, it was moved by C. Dunn and seconded 6y D. Dalton , that said Ordinonce be taken up and declared fio be and considered as an emergency measure, to take effect immediately, as recited therein. The IVfayor put the motion to a vote of the members of the City Council and the motion carried unanimously. The ' Mayor then declored the Ordinance to be an emergency, .. , . � It was fihen moved by C. Gideon and seconded by L. Oliver that the Ordinance be passed and adopted, to be in effect immediately according to its terms. The Mayor put the motion to a vote of the members of the City Council and the Ordinance was passed and adopted by the following vote: AYES: N OES: The N�/llayor then declared the Ordinance passed and adopted, and signed and approved the same in the p�esence of the City Council.
