A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A
MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
,�� GRAPEVINE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPO-
RATION
� WHEREAS, Mr. Mike McKinney was appointed as a Director of
the Grapevine Industrial Development Corporation on August 19,
1980; and
WHEREAS, the Articles of Incorporation of the Grapevine
Industrial Development Corporation provide that the term of
office of a Director who is not a member of the governing body of
the City shall be six (6) years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. McKinney ' s term on the Board of Directors is
due to expire, and it is therefore necessary and incumbent upon
the City Council to appoint a Director to fill this vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the findings and declarations contained in
the preamble of this Resolution are hereby repeated and
incorporated herein as part of this Resolution.

Section 2. That the City Council hereby reappoints Mike
McKinney, who is a least eighteen (18) years of age and is a duly
�" qualified elector of the City on the date of this appointment, to
serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation,
such service to be at all times subject to the powers of the City
under the Act and the Articles of Incorporation.
Section 3 . That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately from and after its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of May, 1986.
