A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A
MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
GRAPEVINE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPO-
RATION

WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Grapevine Industrial
Development Corporation due to the resignation of Mr. Mike
� McKinney; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and incumbent upon the City Council
to appoint a Director to fill this vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section l . That the findings and declarations contained in
the preamble of this Resolution are hereby repeated and incor-
porated herein as part of this Resolution.
Section 2 . That the City Council hereby appoints Mayor Tom
Powers, who is at least eighteen (18) years of age and is a duly
qualified elector of the City on the date of this appointment, to
serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation,
such service to be at all times subject to the powers of the City
under the Act and the Articles of Incorporation.
Section 3. Pursuant to Article VII of the Articles of
"���" Incorporation, this appointment shall not exceed the period for
which Mr. Powers is a member of the governing body of the City of
�,�, Grapevine, Texas.
Section 4 . That this Resolution shall take effect
immediately from and after its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 7th day of October, 1986 .
