CASE OR CASES IN ORDER TO CONSIDER '
AMENDING AND CHANGING THE CITY' S
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDI-
NANCE NO. 82-73 , AS AMENDED, SAME ALSO
BEING KNOWN AS APPENDIX "D" OF THE CODE

TEXAS; BY AMENDING SECTION 40 RELATING
TO "DFW" DALLAS-FORT WCRTH INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT DISTRICT REGULATIONS AND SECTION
'"�'"" 42 RELATING TO SUPPLEMENTARY DISTRICZ'
REGULATIONS; BY ADDING NEW SECTIONS,
SECTION 48 RELATING TO CONDITIONAL USES,
SECTION 60 RELATING TO SIGN GTANDARDS,
AND SECTION 61 RELATING TO ADMINIS-
TRATION AND ENFORCEMFNT; AND BY REPEAL-
ING EXISTING SECTION 49 , "S-P" SITE PLAN
DISTRICT REGULATIONS, AND CREATING A NEW
SECTION 49 RELATING TO SPECIAL USE
PERMITS; AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT
FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS PURSUANT TO TEX.
REV. CIV. STAT. ANN. ART, 1011a-1011e;
AND PROVIDING AN EFF'ECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to consider amendments and
changes to certain hereinafter described sections of the City' s
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 82-73, same being
also known as Appendix "D" of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Grapevine, Texas (the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance") ; and
�� WHEREAS , by the passage of this resolution, the City Council
does hereby institute a new zoning case or cases to consider said
amendments and changes and does instruct the City Staff to
�` proceed in a reasonable and expeditious manner to satisfy the
, statutory notice requirements necessary to call a Public Hearing
or Hearings in order to allow the Planning & Zoning Commission
and City Council to consider said amendments and changes in
accordance with applicable State law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That all matters stated above are found to be
true and correct and are incorporated into the body of this
resolution as if copied herein in their entirety.
Section 2 . The City Council does hereby institute a new
zoning case or cases to consider amending and changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance pursuant to and in accordance with
applicable State law by amending Section 40 relating to "DFW"
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport District Regulations and
Section 42 relating to Supplementary District Regulations; by
�� adding new sections, Section 48 relating to Conditional Uses,
Section 60 relating to Sign Standards, and Section 61 relating to
Administration and Enforcement; and by repealing existing Section
' 49 , "S-P" Site Plan District Regulations, and creating a new
Section 49 relating to Special Use Permits.
Section 3 . The City Council does hereby direct, authorize
and instruct the City Staff to proceed in a reasonable and
expeditious manner to satisfy the statutory notice requirements
necessary to call a Public Hearing or Hearings in order to allow
the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council to consider
said amendments and changes in accordance with applicable State
law, and to take all other necessary and appropriate action.
Section 4 . That this resolution shall take effect from and
after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 18th day of June, 1985 .
